Sant’Antioco Island is located in the extreme South West of Sardinia. It is about 90 km from Cagliari (port and airport), 300 km from Olbia port and 250 km from Porto Torres, the main points of arrival in Sardinia.
You can have fun planning your trip to Sant’Antioco, which could turn out to be an experience in the travel experience.
Some trip hints:
- rent a car and drive to Sant’Antioco and all around the island in the island
- get the train directly from the airport to Carbonia and then get a bus to Sant’Antioco.
- get a taxi from the airport (which I find the most expensive solution) or the collective transportation (cheaper solution: I could give you the names and phone numbers of the people to contact) and conveniently reach Sant’Antioco. During your stay you can rent either a car or a motorbike or a mountain bike on the island in the island or just make use of the public and private coaches.
You could reach Sardinia by ferry boat: Cagliari, Olbia and Porto Torres are the main ports of Sardinia.
